Ordered by House Marik in 3061, the WLV-6M Wolverine 
is a capable omni-mech.  The design went into production 
in late 3062 and has already been intergrated into House 
Marik regiments.  The Wolverine serves a true line mech, 
being optimized for the mission is is to undertake.

Capabilities:

The basic design of the Wolverine is very adaptable with 
36.5 tons of pod space.  Due to the thoughtful 
arrangement of structural equipment, the Wolverine is able 
to carry weapons such as the devastating gauss rifle.  The 
Wolverine utilizes Endo Steel Internal Structure, has a 
Magna 260 XL fusion reactor.  While critics sight the 
reactor as too small and underpowered, it does give the 
Wolverine an impressive weapons and armor load, that 
being 12 tons of A.C.E. Type 4A Heavy.

The Primary configuration is a jack of all trades.  Intended 
to be a medium range fighter its true firepower comes from 
its Mydron Excel Ultra Type 10 Ultra Autocannon 10 and 
its pair of Chicomp 43 Special Large Lasers.  Backing up 
these main weapons are a pair of RAMTech 800P 
Medium Pulse Lasers and a Generation Streak SRM4.

Alternate configuration A is a true long range direct fire 
support variant.  Its main weapon for this role is the 
Norse-Stromm Model 7D Gauss Rifle.  A pair of Blazefire 
Sweetshot ER Large Lasers add misery to pain at long 
range.  For those units that do manage to close within 
short range of the Wolverine, there is a Generation Streak 
SRM4 to deal with them.  In this configuration, the 
Wolverine also carries a Garret/Guardian Interface 
Guardian ECM to make targeting difficult for enemy units.

Alternate configuration B is a short range brawler.  Carrying 
a Mydron Excel LB 10-X Autocannon as the main 
weapon. A pair of Thunderbolt 12 Large Pulse Lasers and 
a pair of RAMTech 800P Medium Pulse Lasers are the 
main back-up to the autocannon.   This variant also 
carries the Generation Streak SRM4.

Alternate configuration C is nothing short of a missle boat.  
Mounting 2 Valiant Ballista LRM20s with 2 tons of ammo 
for each, it is more than capable in this role.  For short 
range work, this variant carries 4 RAMTech 800P Medium 
Pulse Lasers,  a Chiscomp 39 Medium Laser and a 
Chiscomp 2000 ER Small Laser.

Deployment:

House Marik deploys the Wolverine to line regiments in 
fairly impressive numbers.  Capitalizing on the mechs omni 
capabilities, all 4 different configurations may be seen in a 
regiment at any given time.

A small number of Wolverines have also been spotted in 
service with the forces of Word of Blake.  Exactly how 
many Wolverines are being supplied to Word of Blake by 
House Marik remains a mystery.
