The aging Vincent class corvettes have been refitted again because they were simply not able to handle today's naval battlefield. The new Vincent Mk 43 uses 1,085 tons of cargo to improve several systems. The armour is now Lamellor Ferro-Carbide, adding much needed strength to the hull. Two additional Barracuda missile launchers were added to increase the Vincent's naval firepower. The remaining tonnage was used to add a large and lethal antifighter armament to the ship.

Clan Snow Raven started refitting their Vincents in 3063, and started taking contracts to refit other Clans' Vincents. So far, Clan Cloud Cobra, Clan Jade Falcon, and Clan Wolf have taken advantage of the design, and had their existing Vincents refitted. However, Clan Cloud Cobra has only allowed one of their Vincents to be refitted, saying that they cannot afford to have their naval numbers decreased by two ships for any length of time. Clan Snow Raven anticipates that more Clans will have their Vincents refitted in the future.
